About Wheat Legal PLLC
I founded Wheat Legal PLLC in Seattle, Washington, in 2018 and the firm continues to grow in scope and impact. I am deeply rooted in the metro area, often volunteering in local communities. My practice areas include both commercial litigation and transactional matters in business. To learn more about my background and experience, follow the link below.
What To Expect
I prefer to meet all new clients in person at least once, but I understand that this may not always be possible. I respect and accommodate my clients’ varied legal needs, including the following:
- My corporate services include corporate planning and compliance, licensing, intellectual property (IP) strategies and technology solutions for corporate entities.
- I handle a wide range of litigation matters as well as arbitration, mediation and other alternative conflict resolution methods.
- My transactional services include drafting contracts and navigating purchases and sales of property, IP and other assets.
Wheat Legal PLLC‘s clients have access to more than just my knowledge and experience since I am associated with other well-respected law firms throughout the Puget Sound area and beyond. Furthermore, I maintain a global network of contacts in the Philippines, South Africa, Australia, Israel and London. My international expertise and connections are unique and highly useful for the clients with global concerns.
My Fees And Financial Philosophies
Transparency about the legal fees is part of what honesty means to me. Generally, I use an hourly rate, value-added or flat-fee agreement. On occasion, when a client requests so and there is a clear recovery, I consider using a mixed contingency agreement.
The hourly rate at Wheat Legal PLLC ranges between $200 and $300 for litigation or commercial legal advice before any case is filed. For a senior paralegal or junior attorney, the firm charges $100 to $175 per hour depending on the nature of the work. Administrative work is performed at the market rate.
I am always ready to work with clients on ways to keep my services within their budgets while supporting the continuity of my proven effective counsel and representation.
